I’m sick of the Occupy Wall Street (or anywhere) demonstrators being derogatorily referred to as “hippies.” If speaking out about how corporate greed is literally killing people and destroying our country makes me a hippie, then tie-dye my shirt and call me Sunflower because I’d rather be called a hippie while fighting for justice than call people names while suffering in ignorance or harming out of greed.
